DirecTV has just launched MySports, a new sports package designed for fans who crave nonstop sports action. This tailored selection of channels offers a great way for sports enthusiasts to catch all the games and shows they love.
Initially, MySports offers 40 sports and broadcast channels across 24 major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The plan is to expand availability as DirecTV adds more local stations to the mix.
Bill Morrow, CEO of DirecTV, said, “MySports gives consumers more choice and flexibility. This is just the first of several new genre-based packages we’ll be releasing.”
Fans can easily stream MySports on mobile devices using the DirecTV app or through popular platforms like Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV. Plus, viewers won’t miss a moment of action thanks to game-time notifications and unlimited cloud DVR, allowing them to watch live or catch up later.
What’s Included in MySports?
The MySports package includes a mix of national and local channels, along with live news coverage. Fans will find national brands like ACC Network, ESPN, Fox Sports, NBA TV, and NFL Network. Local channels will cover stations owned by ABC, FOX, and NBC, with more to come.
As a bonus, MySports subscribers will have access to popular channels like ESPN+ at no extra cost soon. They will also benefit from MyFree DirecTV ad-supported sports channels, featuring networks such as ACC Digital Network, Big 12, and Women’s Sports Network.
