Lee is stepping into the future of fabric technology with their new men’s line, Lee X.
This exciting platform builds on the success of the Extreme Motion line, which has been a favorite for nine years. Lee X keeps the popular features like stretchy fabric and flexible waistbands. It also adds new elements to boost comfort and performance, such as a better gusset for freedom of movement and eco-friendly touches like back patches made from recycled apple skins.
Jimmy Shafer, Lee’s global vice president, shared, “We’ve put in a lot of effort to develop Lee X, and I can’t wait for consumers to experience these innovative products.”
Lee X includes four distinct lines: Lee X Move, Lee X Soft Denim, Lee X Lite Non-Denim, and Lee X Shirts.
Lee X Move features denim and non-denim options in relaxed, regular, and slim fits. These jeans use high-quality, easy-to-care-for fabric that stretches while keeping its classic denim vibe. Thanks to Unifi’s TruTemp365 technology, they adapt to temperature changes, keeping you comfortable, whether it’s warm or cool outside.
The non-denim styles are made from a breathable, moisture-wicking synthetic material.
Lee X Soft Denim caters to those who love soft fabrics. Available in regular and slim fits, these jeans are crafted from cotton, stretchy fibers, and Tencel.
Launching later this spring, Lee X Lite Non-Denim focuses on breathability. Its lightweight, stretchy fabric helps keep you cool.
Lee X Shirts are the perfect match for the bottoms. These tailored shirts are made from a cotton blend and feature water-repellant technology and stretch.
Shafer explains, “The jeans feel like traditional denim but boast performance features. The casual pants are very versatile; they can fit into any wardrobe.” His confidence shines through with the potential for Lee X to appeal to both long-time fans and new customers alike.
You can find Lee X Move and Lee X Soft now on Lee.com and Amazon, with prices starting at $40 for tops and $50 for bottoms.
This is just the beginning for Lee in 2025. Last year, they also launched the Lee Golf Series, featuring golf apparel that combines performance fabric with style and introduced collaborations with brands like Hey Dude and Alpha Industries.
This year, Lee is set to release men’s footwear in partnership with Jack Schwartz Shoes, expanding their offerings even further.
