Meet Your Neighbor: Discover the Inspiring Story of Lauren Eargle

What you won’t find on social media…

I’m just another person trying to juggle life, and I live in Frederick, Maryland. I’m married to an amazing man who puts up with my countless ideas daily. My education came from South University, along with a lot of wisdom I gained from working with an incredible mentor, Diane Reinhart.

When it comes to entertainment, you might catch me switching between podcasts, reality shows, or what’s trending on Netflix. I once had a wild idea to open a spin studio, even though I had never taught a spin class before. That’s just me – full of spontaneous decisions!

My SUV, with over 170,000 miles, is my trusty companion. I plan to drive it until it says, “Enough!” Emails usually fill my reading list, but I love to tune into audiobooks about health, fitness, or finance whenever I get a moment. As for movies, I don’t often watch them again unless it’s a special occasion.

Some might not know this about me: I can manage budgets, organize festivals, and coach soccer, but folding a fitted sheet? Not a chance. I’ll just ball it up and move on.

If there were a movie about my life, I would want Emma Stone to play me. She captures my chaotic energy perfectly! I have a dream of wearing my sequined red jumpsuit—one day, right?

One app I rely on is my Outlook calendar. Without it, I’d be lost! My worst habit? Turning a quick idea into a 20-slide business plan. And about my fridge? It seems to have a life of its own with seven empty condiment bottles appearing out of nowhere!

Dolly Parton is my ultimate dinner guest; her charm and wisdom are legendary. Comfort food for me is pineapple, pepperoni, and jalapeño pizza. Yes, pineapple does belong on pizza—no questions asked!

Every morning is a whirlwind: motivating workout classes, getting kids ready for school, or stepping over my dog. With four goats and two dogs, my household is already packed! My favorite emoji is the sweaty smiley—definitely fitting for my daily chaos.

My first job was at Zaxby’s when it was the only fast-food option around. Ah, simpler times! I love the people of Effingham County. They are funny and engaged, always willing to lend a hand or share their thoughts.

Cookies are my downfall—don’t send them to City Hall! Go Braves! And Austin Riley, too. Music is my escape; I’ll dance to whatever song comes to mind, thanks to my imaginary instructor.

The best quality in others? Follow-through. Please don’t make me chase you for reminders! My teenage self could use a little breathing advice—no need for a five-year plan at 16.

As a kid, I once believed that all adults had life figured out. Turns out, that was a hilarious misconception! My hero? It’s my husband, who has gently reminded me that it’s okay to relax once in a while.

I crossed off seeing Alaska from my bucket list this year, which was thrilling. Now, I need to write a new list. My motto in life is simple: “I will make it work.” Whatever comes my way, I’m ready.
