President Dianna Vargo and Board Chairman David Hendrickson announced a great start with two generous donations totaling $1 million.

The university received $500,000 each from WesBanco and Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration. These funds will specifically go toward renovating the outdoor athletic complex.

Hendrickson expressed his gratitude, highlighting the commitment of these local businesses to support future leaders. “Your investment will pay back many times over,” he said, referring to the impact of these contributions.

Dr. Vargo shared her excitement over the donations, stating they will provide students with a top-notch venue to showcase their talents. This kind of support enhances the student experience immensely.

Bob Contrageurro, Jr., from Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration, noted that the company values investing in the community. He emphasized that this project will foster a welcoming space for students, families, and athletes for years to come.
