BASSETERRE – The Department of Constituency Empowerment, along with various community groups, is kicking off a Carnival Cleanup from December 8 to 19, 2025. This event, in partnership with organizations like the Ministry of Health and the Solid Waste Management Corporation, aims to tidy up our beautiful surroundings for the carnival season.
The cleanup is part of a larger initiative called the Environment for Everyone (E.F.E.) Campaign, set to officially launch in 2026. - December 11–14: Cleaning drains and sidewalks on Church Street, Fort Street, Cayon Street, and surrounding areas.
- December 15–17: Continuing cleanup in Newtown and the Big Drain corridor.
- December 18–19: Final enhancements to Carnival spaces before the festivities begin.
