LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has made a grand entrance at The Game Awards with an exciting new trailer. This highly anticipated game is set to launch on May 29, 2026, for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The trailer offers a closer look at Gotham, including the Bat Cave and various heroes and villains you’ll encounter. TT Games, the developer behind this project, first teased the game in August during Gamescom Opening Night Live. This edition of LEGO Batman offers a fresh take on the beloved character, allowing players to explore an open-world Gotham filled with adventures.
Interestingly, the superhero genre has seen significant growth over the past few years. According to a 2022 report from the Entertainment Software Association, over 40% of gamers identified action-adventure as their favorite genre. LEGO Batman taps directly into this trend, combining beloved characters with engaging gameplay.
Additionally, the casting has drawn attention. Matt Berry, known for his unique comedic style, will voice Bane, adding a fun twist to the game’s narrative.
