Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, a key figure in car design, was the grandson of the company’s founder. He shaped the iconic 911, and now, Porsche honors him with a new model: the 911 GT3 90 F.A. Porsche.
This special edition is limited to just 90 cars, a nod to what would have been F.A. Porsche’s 90th birthday. The vehicle is crafted by the Sonderwunsch Manufaktur, Porsche’s custom vehicle unit. It features a unique F.A. Green paint, inspired by the Oak Green of F.A. Porsche’s personal 911. The wheels are finished in Satin Black, showcasing a vintage Porsche crest.
Inside, the car boasts grid-weave fabric, reminiscent of F.A. Porsche’s favorite sports coat. There’s also a clock inspired by the original Chronograph 1 and a shift lever with a walnut handle. You’ll find F.A. Porsche’s signature on a plaque, along with a silhouette of the first Porsche 911.
The 911 GT3 90 F.A. Porsche is based on the GT3 with Touring Package, starting at $230,500 but this limited version is priced significantly higher at $387,000. It features a powerful 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 502 horsepower.
F.A. Porsche once said, “The form follows function” — a statement that’s embodied in the 911. His legacy continues through this model, which celebrates both him and the iconic car design he championed.
Beyond its necessity for speed and style, this car is a celebration of family history and innovation. Mark Porsche, F.A. Porsche’s son, will receive one of the exclusive models. Production will begin next year, allowing owners to customize their cars further.
The combination of craftsmanship and heritage in the 911 GT3 90 F.A. Porsche makes it more than just a car—it’s a legacy on wheels.
