On Tuesday, the website was fully restored. CEO James Michel addressed the issues, expressing understanding for the stress it caused customers. “We take responsibility for that disruption and apologize for the inconvenience it caused,” he said.
Even though the website faced challenges, customers can still get help. They can enroll for coverage starting January 1 by calling the Access Health CT center until December 20. The trained staff is ready to assist, ensuring everyone gets coverage.
Approximately 2,400 customers who couldn’t enroll due to the outages will receive callbacks with the chance to secure their health insurance. Michel emphasized the commitment to helping those impacted during this time.
For phone support, customers can reach the call center at 1-855-805-4325. The center operates from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Assistance is available in over 100 languages, making it accessible to a wide audience.
