Discover the Science Behind Bubbles with Michigan Bubble Fun: A Hands-On Learning Experience!

CLIO, Mich. – This weekend, the Mid-Michigan Libraries were alive with excitement!

Miss Lena, known as Angelina Bertoni, brought her fun and interactive science shows to the Clio Area Library and the Davison Area Library. A preschool teacher from Grand Rapids, Miss Lena aims to spark a love for science in kids through her special programs.

Her journey into the world of bubbles began with a very special student who used a wheelchair. Miss Lena wanted to create a safe activity that everyone could enjoy. “We started learning bubble tricks together, and I discovered how to make bubbles in all sorts of ways,” she shared.

For Miss Lena, the best part of her job is engaging with the kids. “Seeing their eyes light up when they learn something new is magical. I understand how tough learning can be. I had dyslexia as a child, so I know the challenges of grasping math and science. I hope to inspire kids to find joy in learning,” she explained. “All it takes is one magical moment. And fingers crossed, that bubble doesn’t pop too soon!”

If you missed this weekend’s shows, don’t worry! Miss Lena will be back in Mid-Michigan this summer. You can also connect with her online to see more of her bubbly adventures.
