Google has rolled out some exciting updates for users of NotebookLM. The new chat history feature lets users continue conversations seamlessly across devices, whether on the web or mobile. Each response is timestamped, making it easy to track discussions. If needed, you can start fresh by deleting your chat history with just a few taps.
As of now, Google has confirmed that this feature is available to all users. It enhances usability, making it easier to keep track of notes and conversations.
On another note, Google AI Ultra subscribers have seen significant changes too. Subscribers now enjoy a major boost in their usage limits. For a monthly fee of $250, they can access a remarkable 5,000 chats, 200 Audio Overviews, and more. This is a tenfold increase compared to the previous AI Pro plan.
Notably, each notebook can now hold up to 600 sources, double the capacity under the AI Pro plan, and can support 1,000 users at once. This makes collaboration much easier. Users of the AI Ultra plan also get unique features like Watermark Removal for Infographics and Slide Decks, which isn’t available to others.
In a recent survey, over 70% of tech enthusiasts expressed excitement about these expanded capabilities, highlighting the growing integration of AI in everyday tools. Experts predict that features like these will redefine how we organize and manage information moving forward. As AI tools become more powerful, their role in both professional and personal settings is likely to expand even further.
These changes reflect Google’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, adapting to user needs in real-time. With the rapid evolution of AI, we can expect even more innovative features in the near future.
