Exciting Update: President & CEO Kevin Warren’s Vision for the Chicago Bears Stadium Project

On September 8, 2025, Soldiers Field buzzed with excitement for our home opener. Fast forward 100 days, and that thrill has only intensified. Last weekend, we celebrated a fantastic win at Soldier Field in frigid temperatures, and we couldn’t have done it without you. With five wins in our six home games this season, your support truly drives our team. As we approach the final two regular-season home games, our sights are set on building a championship organization that you deserve.

We’re also focused on a new stadium. Earlier this season, we mentioned that Arlington Heights is the best option for a state-of-the-art NFL stadium in Cook County. This site represents our most viable path forward. We’ve committed to investing over $2 billion, a figure that stands as one of the largest private investments in Illinois history.

It’s important to note that we’re not seeking state taxpayer money for the stadium. We only request help with vital local infrastructure, like roads and utilities, which is standard for projects of this magnitude. We aimed for clarity and reliability from state leaders, but so far, we’ve seen little legislative support.

Why is this important? The project could create thousands of union jobs and bring year-round attractions and global events to Illinois. However, uncertain timelines can lead to significant challenges. We need steady leadership that values public partnerships to help us achieve this goal. Recently, state leaders have indicated that our project won’t be a priority in 2026, which is disappointing given the benefits it could offer.

Therefore, we must broaden our search and look for potential sites across the Chicagoland area, including Northwest Indiana. This isn’t about making threats; we’ve dedicated years to finding a suitable home in Cook County and have carefully settled on Arlington Heights as our best choice. Our fans deserve a venue that matches their passion and our commitment to excellence.

The Bears have been part of Chicago for over a century. Our love for this city is unwavering, and we intend to continue supporting our community. Securing a top-notch venue for our dedicated fans is crucial. Remember, the Chicago Bears are one of the original teams in the NFL, and we currently play in the oldest and smallest stadium.

Moving forward, our mission is clear: to build a team and a stadium that reflect the high standards of our amazing fans. Every home game reminds us why we do this—because you are the best fans in sports. Your energy, enthusiasm, and love for the Chicago Bears inspire us every week.

Thank you all for your incredible support.
