Ranking the Top 9 Stranger Things Food Collaborations: From Disappointing to Delicious! [7-11 Slides] – Daily Meal

If Steve Harrington meets an untimely end, the Duffer Brothers will have some serious explaining to do. If you’re a fan like I am, you know the finale of *Stranger Things* is finally here after nearly a decade. As we gear up for the climax in November 2025, our focus is less on the holidays and more on our beloved characters. But let’s not forget one of the best parts about this season: the amazing food collaborations inspired by the show.

From pizzas named after the characters to quirky snacks, the marketing team really upped their game this time. With a careful selection of treats, I organized a tasting party with friends, complete with a rating scale using Demogorgons. If something got 1 demogorgon, it was a flop; 5 demogorgons meant it was a must-try. So, which snacks deserve your attention—or your disdain? Let’s dive into my top picks!

9. Chips Ahoy! Chewy Strawberry Cookies

This collaboration with Chips Ahoy! didn't quite hit the mark. The cookies, while soft, had an overwhelming artificial strawberry taste. It felt more like a dentist’s fluoridation treatment than a pleasant snack. Maybe kids will like them, but we rated these a mere 2 demogorgons.

8. Demogorgon Crunch Cereal

Kellogg’s Demogorgon Crunch left us underwhelmed. The syrupy flavor was too much, even with milk. The marshmallows looked fun but did little to save the taste. Overall, we gave it 2 demogorgons as well.

7. Eggo Strawberry Waffles

As a nod to Eleven, these pink waffles were a bit overly artificial. While they smelled nice, they didn’t deliver on flavor. We gave them a 2.5 demogorgon rating—better than the last two, but still a letdown.

6. Hawkins Lab Combo Pizza

This one was better! Packed with sausage, pepperoni, and cheese, it had a good crust but was overwhelmed by a sweet sauce. A little less sauce and a bit more pepperoni would’ve made it shine. We gave it a 3 demogorgons.

5. Gushers

Back to childhood with Gushers! These chewy snacks brought back memories, though they felt thicker than I recalled. Still, the flavors were satisfying enough to earn 3.5 demogorgons.

4. Hawkins High Cheese Pizza

This pizza was a solid choice with a blend of cheeses and a sweet sauce. The dough was impressively crunchy yet soft. We rated it 3.5 demogorgons, proving it was better than average.

3. Starcourt Mall Supreme Pizza

With a combination of Italian sausage, peppers, and olives, this pizza stole the show. The fresh flavors and quality crust earned it a strong rating of 4 demogorgons.

2. Totino's Spicy Cheese Pizza Rolls

These rolls lived up to their name. Spicy and packed full of flavor, they were a hit—but the heat was intense. We gave them a 4.5 demogorgons for the taste, though many needed water after just a few!

1. Palace Arcade Pepperoni Pizza

Our top pick was the Palace Arcade Pepperoni Pizza. With full-size pepperoni and a well-balanced crust, it was a standout. Rated at 4.5 demogorgons, it flew off the table faster than we could discuss it!

This taste test required a dive into convenience stores during a busy holiday rush. We prepared everything as instructed and used our Demogorgon rating system to sort through flavors and nostalgia. It’s been a fun journey exploring how far these collaborations have come—connecting food with memories and characters we love. From pizza to candy, these treats serve not just as snacks, but as reminders of a show that has captured our hearts.
