The Cowboys extended their lead after a hard-fought match at 165 pounds when No. 10 LJ Araujo lost to No. 2 LaDarion Lockett in sudden victory. However, Christopher Minto responded for Nebraska with a decisive win at 174 pounds, bringing more points in.

Silas Allred’s victory at 184 pounds further closed the gap, but at 197 pounds, Camden McDanel fell short, allowing Oklahoma State to clinch the match. In the heavyweight bout, Cade Ziola faced No. 7 Konner Doucet and also came up short, sealing the Cowboys’ win.
