Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation recently hosted its fourth annual Bash to Benefit. This event raises money for various needs within the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.
Executive Director Robyn Burton shared that the funds collected support important initiatives like teacher grants, morale initiatives, and academic awards like teacher of the year. She expressed pride in the foundation’s work over its 40-year history, highlighting its significant impact on the community.
The evening included a fun casino night where attendees could win raffle tickets and prizes. A silent auction featured unique artwork from local artists and donated items from community businesses. PSR Events managed the setup and catering for the night. The goal for the event was to raise $30,000.
Dr. Jean Luna-Vedder, CMCSS Director of Schools, expressed gratitude for the strong community support. “It’s heartwarming to see so many people come out for our students and teachers. The Education Foundation fills essential gaps in the classroom, allowing our educators to bring their best ideas to life,” she said.
Overall, the Bash to Benefit was a successful evening filled with community spirit and dedication to education.
