New Residence Hall Set to Open in Fall 2026
Our biggest story was about a brand-new residence hall slated to welcome students in fall 2026. Situated at Shepard and Lawrence avenues, this modern building will house 205 students, enhancing life on our beautiful oceanside campus.
Filming “The Gilded Age” Season 3
Fans were thrilled to learn about the filming of HBO’s “The Gilded Age” on campus. Scenes were shot inside and around the iconic Ochre Court, with students, alumni, and faculty joining in as extras. The excitement of being part of the show captivated many!
A $5 Million Gift for a New Student Center Pavilion
In a significant boost to student life, trustee Barbara A. Papitto donated $5 million for a new garden pavilion. This flexible space will host various student and faculty events and is expected to open in fall 2026.
Major Investment in Business Education
Another highlight was the $12 million gift from the Jean and David W. Wallace Foundation. This funding aims to enhance business education at Salve, leading to the formation of the Jean and David W. Wallace Department of Business and Economics, along with a new department chair position.
