On Thursday, New Delhi marked the 68th Raising Day of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). This event celebrates an institution vital to India’s defense and technology development. Leaders from various fields recognized the hard work and dedication of DRDO scientists and staff.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took to social media to express his gratitude. He noted that the commitment and expertise of DRDO personnel are essential for enhancing India’s defense capabilities. According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, India’s military expenditure rose by approximately 2.1% in 2022, emphasizing the continuous need for innovation and domestic production in defense.
