Fire Engulfs Storage Facility in University Place
A fire broke out at a storage facility in University Place early Friday morning, leading to significant damage and road closures. The blaze was reported around 3:52 a.m. in the 2400 block of 70th Avenue West.
Multiple fire crews from West Pierce Fire & Rescue responded quickly to the scene. They advised the public to stay away, as both 70th Avenue and 24th Street were closed to allow firefighters to operate safely.
