CORALVILLE, Iowa — The 12th-ranked Jordan Williams and Gabe Arnold are headed to the finals of the Soldier Salute wrestling event.
In the semifinals, Williams faced off against No. 21 J Conway from Mizzou at 157 pounds. He controlled the match, winning 8-2 with two takedowns, an escape, and solid riding time. Arnold also had a strong showing at 174 pounds, allowing only one point against Izzy Moreno of UNI while scoring two takedowns to secure his spot in the final.
Other competitors are not out of the race. Kale Peterson (141) and Kael Voinovich (149) will compete for third place, while Victor Voinovich III (157) and Harvey Ludington (197) aim for fifth.
