AIXIA Corporation has revamped its MiawMiaw dry cat food line and introduced a new frozen dog food range made in Japan.
The MiawMiaw Karikari Small Kibble now includes different formulas for kittens, adults, and seniors, available in sizes from 270 grams to 1.08 kilograms. Notably, the company has adjusted the levels of calcium, phosphorus, and sodium in adult and senior formulas to better meet their specific needs. Interestingly, adult formulas are now geared for cats from about one year old, which simplifies the feeding guidelines. The updated packaging reflects these changes.
On the dog food side, AIXIA has launched an eight-item Frozen Pet Food line. This range was developed with the help of a chef from Black Terrace, a pet-friendly restaurant in Tokyo. The meals feature high-quality proteins like hamburger steak, beef steak, or baked white fish, paired with fresh vegetables. They are made in a Japanese facility and blast-frozen to preserve freshness, with no preservatives or artificial additives.
These frozen meals are convenient and can be warmed in the microwave, making them suitable for both occasional treats and everyday meals. Some recipes cater to dogs with meat sensitivities, incorporating ingredients like katsuobushi-based jelly or miso-flavored soybean flour to encourage vegetable intake.
Recent data show that pet owners are increasingly opting for premium pet food options. According to a survey by Pet Food Industry, around 60% of pet owners prioritize quality ingredients for their pets. This trend is driving companies like AIXIA to innovate and meet the evolving demands of pet parents.
In a world where pet care is becoming more focused on health and nutrition, AIXIA’s new offerings highlight the importance of quality in pet food. As owners become more selective, the industry will likely continue to adapt to keep up with these expectations.
