Binghamton, NY – The Binghamton wrestling team showcased an impressive performance, winning eight out of ten matches to secure a 26-7 victory over Buffalo. This dual meet took place in the West Gym, adding to the excitement of local rivalries.
Coach Ryan LeBlanc praised his team’s effort. “It was a solid team performance. I want our guys to take more risks and push the pace as we grow,” he said.

Binghamton kicked things off strong, winning the first three matches. Carson Wagner edged out Zachary Belvario 4-2 at 125 lbs, followed by Dillon Arrick’s decisive 7-1 victory over Max Elton at 133 lbs. Ryan Hartung also contributed with a narrow 2-0 win against Tyler Roark at 141 lbs.
Fin Nadeau stunned everyone with a technical fall, beating Max Nevlin 15-0 in just over five minutes. This brings him to an impressive 11-5 record.
Both Carter Baer and Jordan Brown moved up a weight class to secure wins. Brown, competing at 174 lbs, shut out Giorgio Valenzuela 7-0. Baer followed suit with an 11-4 victory against Rafael Knapp at 184 lbs.
Mikey Squires remains undefeated this season, improving to 5-0 after a 4-1 win against Connor Jacobs at 197 lbs. Lastly, Cayden Bevis wrapped up the meet, earning his first dual victory of the year with a 4-1 win over Magnus Bibla.
