On Sunday, industry leaders gathered to discuss Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat’—or Developed India—by 2047. They highlighted that everyone needs to pitch in to achieve this ambitious goal.
Parakramsinh G. Jadeja, the head of Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd, emphasized that India aims for a $30 trillion economy by its 100th independence anniversary. He noted that if manufacturing can contribute 25%, that’s a whopping $7.5 trillion. This goal opens up vast opportunities for growth and innovation. This aligns with recent data that suggests India’s manufacturing sector is poised to expand, reflecting a growing optimism among businesses.
International perspectives also surfaced at the event. Ion Radu from LAV Eco Management Solutions in Romania shared their excitement about participating in the conference, which focuses on projects in waste and water management. His words underscored the importance of cross-border partnerships as India evolves.
The conference also motivated participants like Aliasgar Gandhi from Mufaddal Universal, who found inspiration in Modi’s direct address. Experiencing new advancements at the event was particularly energizing for him.
Health initiatives were also in the spotlight. Rajeshwar Lal from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced a large health pavilion at the conference. Spanning 700 square meters, it offers various health resources and testing opportunities, emphasizing the government’s commitment to public health.
During the event, Modi inaugurated the conference, which particularly focused on the Kutch and Saurashtra regions. He laid the foundation stone for 13 new industrial estates in seven districts, showing a hands-on approach to regional development.
