Discover LA’s Iconic Flavors: Exciting New Additions to Summerlin Casino Food Hall!

Tacos 1986 and For the Win are two beloved eateries from Los Angeles, making their debut in Las Vegas this March at The Neighborhood Food Hall in The Resort at Summerlin. Tacos 1986 started as a humble street cart, serving authentic Tijuana-style tacos. For the Win shifted from fine dining to smash burgers during the pandemic, gathering a loyal following.

The Neighborhood Food Hall will not just feature these two concepts. It will also host other popular spots like Ai Pazzi, Ai Pazzi Pizza from chef Fabio Viviani, Pearls Oyster & Crudo Bar, and Nom Wah, the first West Coast location of New York’s famous dim sum restaurant.

Authentic Tacos

Tacos 1986 shines with its handmade corn tortillas. They offer a variety of fillings, including grilled chicken (pollo asado), steak (carne asada), and pork adobada, marinated and cooked on a trompo spit. They also serve a vegan option, the hongos taco, which substitutes mushrooms for meat.

Signature dishes include perrónes tacos made with flour tortillas, and mulitas that layer meat and cheese between corn tortillas. Their vampiros tacos bring a crunchy twist with a delicious mix of ingredients.

Victor Delgado, the founder of Tacos 1986, expressed excitement about entering the Las Vegas market, aiming to share the authentic taste of Tijuana-style tacos with a new crowd.

Burgers with a Twist

For the Win offers a modern take on burgers. Their signature dish includes a thin, smashed patty cooked with grilled onions and topped with pickles and fry sauce, all on a toasted Martin’s potato bun. They also cater to various tastes, offering options like a vegetable burger, grilled cheese, and both regular and sweet potato fries.

Founder Santos Uy is eager to bring the vibrant flavors of Los Angeles to Las Vegas. He believes this new location will unite two great foodie cities, allowing more people to enjoy their offerings.

Food trends show an increasing demand for unique dining experiences. According to a recent survey by the National Restaurant Association, 80% of diners look for diversity in their meal choices. This bodes well for Tacos 1986 and For the Win, both of which aim to bring something fresh and exciting to Las Vegas.
