Exciting news! In 2026, Gloucestershire will host its very first Lifestyle & Community Awards. This event builds on the success of the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards, which have highlighted the best in our community since 2018. This year, we’re adding new categories that celebrate the wonderful spirit of our community.
The awards will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the impressive Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham. We’re thrilled to once again partner with Made in Gloucestershire and Pro Global. Made in Gloucestershire supports local food and drink producers, helping them connect with customers and boost public awareness. Pro Global, a leader in insurance solutions, enhances operational effectiveness for businesses around the world, starting right here in Gloucester.
Comedian Steve Knibbs will host the evening, promising an unforgettable experience. The Cheltenham Trust will provide excellent catering and venue support, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Entries will open on January 19, 2026. Local businesses and community organizations can submit their applications for various categories. This includes familiar favorites like Family Day Out and Pub/Bar of the Year, as well as new options such as Sports Team of the Year and the Volunteer Award.
The awards not only celebrate achievements but also strengthen local pride and participation. According to a recent survey by the Gloucestershire Community Foundation, 70% of residents feel more connected to their community through events like these. This reflects a growing trend of community engagement and support that has been amplified during challenging times.
