It’s not a quick grab-and-go; it’s a space for connection where team members genuinely care. They help you navigate the menu and refill your water before you ask.
The food is both delicious and nutritious. Think pasture-raised eggs, antibiotic-free chicken, raw wild tuna, and organic quinoa—all cooked without seed oils. The seasonal salads stand out; for example, the winter greens are topped with zesty parmesan, fennel shavings, pistachio crumbles, and a toasted sumac vinaigrette. Pita chips are warm, crisp, and baked, not fried.

Pura Vida began in 2012 and now boasts over 40 locations across Florida, New York, and California. Each cafe strives to connect with its community. Co-founder Omer Horev shared how warmly Sarasota has welcomed them. During their training, the team donated meals to local schools and community organizations, reinforcing their commitment to giving back.
“Each cafe is designed to feel like a part of the neighborhood it serves,” Horev notes. Soon, they’ll offer catering services to strengthen those community ties even further.
