The 2026 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) is happening in Atlanta from January 27 to 29. This event is a must-attend for anyone involved in the feed industry. It showcases the latest technology, equipment, and services used in producing eggs, meat, and poultry.
This year, the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is excited to host the Feed Production Education Program on January 28, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. This session is free for all IPPE attendees. “The Feed Production Education Program is crucial for feed mill managers and production professionals,” said Gary Huddleston from AFIA. He emphasizes that it helps them keep up with the newest regulatory and safety trends in the industry.
On January 27, AFIA will also run its annual Pet Food Conference. This event gathers experts who will discuss all things related to pet food—from regulatory issues to the technical side of production. With over 500 attendees from across the pet food manufacturing sector, it’s a great chance to network and learn.
Attendees will also find valuable insights at the 90 TechTalks scheduled throughout the event. These short, 20-minute presentations focus on the latest advancements in protein and feed technology. They will be held daily in various theaters across the expo.
Last year, surveys indicated a 20% increase in interest in sustainable practices within the feed industry. This trend suggests that many professionals are looking for ways to make their processes more eco-friendly. Events like IPPE play a critical role in highlighting these shifts.
