The rush is not just for ice melt but also for shovels. Jaconski recalled starting with around 500 shovels. “I’ve replaced almost all of them, and now my racks are empty until tomorrow,” he added.

Due to this surge in demand, Stanley’s Hardware has limited purchases to two bags per customer. They’re hoping to receive more inventory soon.
