However, as late as Thursday afternoon, users were still voicing their frustrations online. One user expressed, “We cannot even email. This is not fixed.”
Many users are now calling for compensation due to the disruption. For example, after a recent outage, Verizon offered affected customers a $20 credit. Users are definitely feeling the impact of these outages on their work life.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Microsoft 365 has faced significant glitches. In 2024, a flawed update from CrowdStrike antivirus led to global outages, affecting thousands and causing multiple flight delays and interruptions in critical services like hospitals and banks.
