The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is asking Minnesota officials to hand over a person they claim is a convicted sex offender. This call arose after federal agents forcibly removed a U.S. citizen from his home in St. Paul.

DHS claimed Thao was living with two sex offenders targeted in their operation. However, Schnell pointed out that one of those offenders is already incarcerated. “They should know this,” he remarked, highlighting that his department informed DHS about their custody.
