To aid fisheries, the budget proposes the development of 500 reservoirs. An impressive ₹1 lakh crore has been allocated for an Urban Challenge Fund, targeting sustainable urban projects. Moreover, a ₹20,000 crore initiative over five years aims to further carbon capture and emission reduction.
Yadav pointed out the expansion of the National Manufacturing Mission, which focuses on producing electric vehicle (EV) batteries, solar panels, and other clean technologies. Additionally, the plan includes operationalizing 20 new national waterways to facilitate eco-friendly transport.
