Her friend Sam Ezugwu, also the music director of the Amemuso Choir where she sang, shared the news in a heartfelt post on Facebook. Fellow choir member Hillary Obinna revealed that she had been asleep when the incident occurred and woke up due to the bite. Later, two snakes were found in her home. After seeking care at a local clinic that did not have anti-venom, she was taken to a hospital but unfortunately did not survive.

Her rendition of Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” has garnered over 80,000 views on YouTube. Throughout the competition, she delighted audiences by blending various music styles like jazz, opera, and soul. On her Instagram, just before her passing, Nwangene hinted at an upcoming project with fellow musician Tbrass. He shared his grief publicly, calling her an “irreplaceable loss” to the Nigerian music scene. He emphasized how her voice and spirit had united and inspired many.
