Monmouth Baseball 2026 Season Overview
Monmouth University’s baseball head coach, Dean Ehehalt, has unveiled an exciting 53-game schedule for the 2026 season. This season marks the Hawks’ fourth year competing in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). The team has 24 home games lined up this spring, giving local fans plenty of chances to support them.
The season kicks off the weekend of February 13 with a three-game series against Richmond. The following weekend, the Hawks travel south to face Stetson, along with Virginia and North Dakota State, both of which participated in the NCAA Regionals last year.
As February wraps up, Monmouth will battle UMBC in a three-game set starting February 27, followed by a visit to NJIT on March 4. CAA play begins on March 6 when the Hawks head to Towson. This year, the league will feature separate North and South Divisions, and Monmouth will compete against teams like Northeastern, Towson, Stony Brook, and Hofstra—both at home and away.
After Towson, the Hawks will face Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) on March 11. They return home for their opener against Hofstra on March 13, followed by a trip to Rutgers on March 17. Monmouth then hosts Stony Brook from March 20 to 22 and wraps up the month against Lafayette on March 24.
April begins with a trip to Northeastern and then a visit to Princeton on April 8. Monmouth will enjoy a five-game homestand starting April 10 against Towson. Other midweek games during this stretch include NJIT and Penn on April 14 and 15, respectively.
After a road series against Stony Brook and LIU, the Hawks will kick off their longest home stretch of the season with Seton Hall on April 22. They’ll continue to host Rider, Northeastern, and FDU through early May.
The season concludes with away games at Hofstra (May 8-10) and a home series against North Carolina A&T from May 14 to 16. The CAA Championship is slated for May 20 at UNC Wilmington.
