LOS ANGELES — Buckle up and get ready for a thrilling ride with Lionsgate’s new film, “Flight Risk.” With Michelle Dockery as your Air Marshal, you’ll feel safe, but let’s hope your pilot is not played by Mark Wahlberg.

In this gripping story, Wahlberg plays a pilot transporting Dockery’s character, an Air Marshal. They are on their way to trial with a fugitive, played by Topher Grace. As they fly over the Alaskan wilderness, tension rises, and secrets unfold. You quickly realize that not everyone on the plane is who they appear to be.
Dockery describes “Flight Risk” as a movie that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. “It’s definitely something you need to see on the big screen,” she shared.
Teaming up with Wahlberg was a joyful experience for Dockery. She noted it was refreshing to see him take on a different kind of role after years of playing heroes, and she felt excited to work under the direction of Mel Gibson.
When asked about the chemistry between her and Wahlberg, Dockery responded with a laugh. “It’s a bit of both,” she said, referring to the mix of annoyance and entertainment brought by their characters’ dynamic. The film allowed for some improvisation, making the exchanges between Wahlberg and Grace genuinely funny.
After filming, Dockery is considering taking flying lessons herself. “Flight Risk,” featuring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, and Topher Grace, is directed by Oscar winner Mel Gibson and is currently showing in theaters.
