Discover the Hottest Trend in Connecticut: Southington Food Truck Serves Up Delicious Dirty Sodas!

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. – Get Fizzy is bringing a refreshing twist to the world of soda right from its food truck. Inspired by a social media trend, this business is a pioneer in dirty soda vending in Connecticut.

Paige Robison, the young entrepreneur behind Get Fizzy, remembers running lemonade stands as a kid. “That sparked my passion for starting my own business,” she shares. The idea for dirty soda caught her attention through TV shows and social media. But what is dirty soda, exactly? It’s not what it sounds like. Instead of alcohol, it’s your favorite soda blended with unique flavors and creamy goodness.

Paige has a solid team, including Haley Mann and Johnathan, who help run the truck and create the menu. “We mix flavors we love and see what clicks with customers,” Mann explains.

Their drinks are creatively named after Connecticut landmarks, like the Mohegan Sunset and the Dr. 203. To create their signature drinks, they blend sodas with flavored syrups and creams. Imagine a soda with cherry syrup and vanilla cream—sounds delicious, right?

Customers can’t get enough. “We love coming here. Everyone is so friendly,” says Kaylene Kraft from Plainville. She adds they visit multiple times a day.

The buzz around Get Fizzy has a lot to do with TikTok. A video showcasing their drinks went viral, drawing crowds to their location in Lowe’s parking lot. “We weren’t sure at first how things would go, but after that video, people started showing up,” Robison says.

Exciting developments are ahead for Get Fizzy. They plan to open two storefronts this year—one in Plainville and another at Pilgrims Furniture in Milford.

To keep up with their food truck hours and locations, check their updates on Instagram and TikTok at @getfizzyct. They’re also hosting “Fizz Fest” this Saturday at Witchdoctor Brewing Company in Southington from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This Valentine’s Day-themed event will feature their signature dirty sodas along with over 25 vendors.

As trends evolve, Get Fizzy is at the forefront of a refreshing revolution in the beverage industry, showing the power of social media in bringing local flavors to life.
