Marist Men’s Basketball Update
The Marist Red Foxes basketball team is gearing up for an exciting matchup at home. On Thursday night, they’ll face off against the Rider Broncs at McCann Arena. The game starts at 7 p.m. and promises to be action-packed.
The Red Foxes are riding high, having just achieved their third straight win. They’ve already faced the Broncs once this season, securing a solid 71-49 victory in an earlier matchup.

A win against Rider would mark the 11th time in coach John Dunne’s eight years that the team has extended a winning streak to four games. In recent games, Marist’s defense has shined, holding three of their last nine opponents under 50 points.
On the other side, Rider is coming off a nail-biting 81-78 victory against Saint Peter’s, where Flash Burton hit a game-winning three-pointer with just 1.9 seconds on the clock. He averages 14.2 points per game, and his teammate Zion Cruz is close behind with 13.2 points.
