Indianola, Iowa — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s gymnastics team had a standout performance, scoring 190.925 and securing a win against Simpson College, which scored 189.100. This achievement marks a new school record.

The Blugolds shined brightest on the balance beam with a score of 48.575. Meghan Dahlin led the way with an impressive score of 9.800, matching her previous score. Harriet Gehlon recorded a personal best of 9.775, while Jozie Armos also achieved her personal best with a score of 9.750. Linnea Vasali and Grace Gerster rounded out the beam performance with scores of 9.650 and 9.600, respectively.

In the uneven bars, the Blugolds posted a total of 46.950. Cadence Cordova stood out with a personal score of 9.725. Ava Obermoller and Ella Montgomery followed closely with scores of 9.425. Kinley Rose and Rachel Hettiarachy added scores of 9.325 and 9.050.

On the vault, Cadence Cordova again led the team with a score of 9.700. Haley Zampella and Abigail Berens closely followed with scores of 9.575 and 9.525. Hanna Riha and Grace Gerster contributed with scores of 9.475 and 9.400.

Finally, on the floor, Haley Zampella set the pace with a score of 9.675. The team showed their depth with Anna Preussner scoring 9.650, Kamryn Andrade at 9.625, and Hanna Riha at 9.575. Sky Skipper added a score of 9.200 to the team’s total.
