Mumbai is buzzing with excitement as cricket fans get ready for the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. One standout moment? The Bharat Army has teamed up with Prime Video for an uplifting anthem called “The Lalla Anthem – A Warning From Subedaar.”
This energetic track features Bharat Army members — India’s largest group of cricket supporters — lending their voices alongside renowned actors like Anil Kapoor and Radhikka Madan, as well as former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and sports presenter Shefali Bagga. Their coordinated chants and drum beats highlight how important organized fan groups are in creating unforgettable match-day experiences during big tournaments.
Rakesh Patel, founder of Bharat Army, shared, “For us, cricket is all about passion and unity. Being part of Lalla Anthem was a natural fit. The song captures the fire and pride we feel. It’s all about standing together.”
As India prepares for its match against South Africa in Ahmedabad on February 22, the Bharat Army will be there, energizing the crowd with their presence. They have been actively supporting the team and engaging fans throughout the tournament.
The anthem was crafted by the duo Rohan–Vinayak, with lyrics by Rishi Upadhyay and vocals from Vishal Dadlani. It’s part of the upcoming action-drama film Subedaar, which features a talented cast and will premiere on Prime Video on March 5.
In a game where every cheer matters, the Bharat Army reminds us that fans are not just spectators; they are a vital part of the match’s atmosphere. This year’s T20 World Cup shows just how important fan engagement can be, especially with the rise of social media trends where supporters share their experiences online.
Whether it’s through a catchy anthem or passionate support in the stands, the Bharat Army continues to prove that cricket is as much about the fans as it is about the players.
