Winter seems to be behind us, and we can finally embrace the warmer days ahead.
For those who love sweets, All Things Chocolate and More is making its way into Savannah. The Richmond Hill sweet shop is opening on Mall Blvd at Waters. It’ll be an ideal spot to grab coffee and a treat. We’re excited to see how it unfolds!
Have you heard about Marbled & Fin Steakhouse? Their Charleston location is stunning, and they’ll be opening a branch at the corner of Houston and Oglethorpe downtown. The owners of Neighborhood Dining Group, known for Husk, are behind this endeavor. It promises to be a delightful experience.
Speaking of dining updates, Eden Supper Club is set to close its current location on February 28th, but they hint at an exciting new chapter. Fans of their food are hoping for a quick reopening.
Last week, Pritchard and Company hosted a fantastic dinner for the Eat It and Like It Supper Club. Executive Chef Derrick Fulmer and his team served exceptional dishes. Pritchard is already a popular spot on Broughton Street and will soon introduce dinner service. Their menu blends old favorites from the former Starland Cafe with new items.
I also stopped by Miss Sophie’s in Pooler recently. The atmosphere is inviting, and the Southern comfort food is delicious. Since Teri Bell sold it to Big Bon Bodega, the restaurant has had a little makeover but still serves some of the best fried chicken in Pooler, located inside the Mighty 8th Museum.
If you’re on the hunt for fried chicken, check out Phat Girlz inside the Chevron gas station. It’s gaining traction for its incredible food!
On March 1st, enjoy the #FancyFishFry at Tubby’s Tankhouse in Thunderbolt. It’s an all-you-can-eat fried fish event, featuring chefs from places like StrangeBird and Sobremesa. You won’t want to miss this.
BBQ lovers, don’t forget about Charleston’s Palmira BBQ in West Ashley. The Texas-style BBQ with Puerto Rican flavors is definitely worth the trip. My short video captured the vibe; check it out!
Another BBQ spot, Bordertown BBQ, is opening soon in Beaufort. There’s quite a buzz surrounding it, and we’re eager to try it ourselves.
If seafood is more your style, make plans for the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival next week. It promises events and demos for all ages, especially on the main event day at Coastal Discovery Museum on the 28th.
