A tragic incident unfolded on February 24 in Washington state when a 32-year-old man fatally stabbed four individuals outside a home before being shot by a sheriff’s deputy, authorities reported.
Around 8:41 a.m., deputies received a call about a violation of a no-contact order at a residence near Tacoma. Witnesses quickly reported seeing the man attacking people outside. By 9:30 a.m., a deputy arrived on the scene and shot the suspect. Three victims were found dead at the site, while a fourth succumbed to injuries later.
Deputy Carly Cappetto from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office reassured the community that there was no ongoing threat.

The stabbings occurred in the Key Peninsula area, located off Henderson Bay in the scenic Puget Sound estuary. Witness Chris Cardenas described the shock of hearing gunfire while washing his truck and noted how the sound echoed through the trees. “I immediately knew something was up because I’ve never heard gunshots out here,” he said.
