ATHENS – The No. 8-ranked Bulldogs showcased their talent in a doubleheader against Oakland, winning both games convincingly. They dominated Game 1 with a 17-0 score and followed up with an 11-0 win in Game 2.

In Game 1, senior pitcher Caden Aoki shined, earning his first win of the season. He struck out six batters while allowing just four hits and one walk in six innings.
Georgia was quick to take the lead in the second inning. Senior Kolby Branch hit a two-RBI double, while junior Ryan Wynn drove in two more runs shortly after with his own double. The Bulldogs scored five runs in the fourth inning, highlighted by back-to-back home runs from sophomore Henry Allen and senior Brennan Hudson. By the sixth inning, Georgia had built a 16-0 lead. Redshirt-freshman Alexander Sifford was hit by a pitch with bases loaded, invoking the seven-inning run rule.
In Game 2, junior Zach Brown took the mound, matching his career-high with seven strikeouts and allowing only one hit in four innings. Tre Phelps continued his hot streak, homering early in the game, extending his hitting streak to 25 games.
Daniel Jackson made a splash with an inside-the-park home run—the first for the Bulldogs since 2024. The fourth inning saw further fireworks as both Rylan Lujo and Ryan Black drove in two runs with back-to-back hits, while Hudson added another three-run homer to his tally.
