Discover the Exciting Return of Food Trucks: A Foodie’s Guide on BenitoLink!

Spring is almost here, and that means it’s time for Food Truck Tuesdays in Hollister! The downtown excitement kicks off on March 3, with food trucks lining up on San Benito Street between 6th and 7th streets. Join the fun every Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM until April 7.

Omar Rosa, the executive director of the Hollister Downtown Association (HDA), is buzzing with excitement. “This year, we’ll have all your favorite Farmers’ Market food trucks,” he said. Expect delicious options like Hapa Bros, Ivan’s Baked Potatoes, Steakstop, El Guapo, and Tacos Las Cascada. Don’t forget dessert! Treat yourself to Place of Crepes, Wafflz & Pearlz, and Lily’s Fresh Fruit.

To keep things fresh, new food trucks will appear throughout the season. For instance, Kettle & Smoke Catering will join on March 10, bringing award-winning chili, soups, and hot drinks like hot chocolate and tea.

The Hollister Downtown Association is a nonprofit group focused on enhancing the downtown area through community events and beautification. They work hard each year to create a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Food Truck Tuesdays not only support local businesses but also foster community spirit. As we gather weekly, it’s a chance to meet neighbors, enjoy delicious food, and celebrate the arrival of spring together.

Food truck culture has exploded across the United States in recent years. According to recent surveys, 56% of people say they choose food trucks for their variety, while 43% appreciate the convenience. The trend shows no signs of slowing. These mobile eateries are not just places to grab a bite; they are becoming essential social hubs.

By participating in such community events, we help strengthen local economies while also enjoying unique culinary experiences. So, grab your friends and family and head downtown for Food Truck Tuesdays!
