Discover Qatar: PTO and Visit Qatar Announce Exciting Half-Decade Partnership for T100 World Tour Final

The T100 Triathlon World Tour series is set for an exciting run in Qatar. The next five finals will happen in Doha, with the first in 2025, scheduled for December 11 to 13. This event will be called the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final.

This championship follows the inaugural edition that took place in Dubai last year. The series, which kicked off in January, is a collaboration between the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon.

According to Sam Renouf, the PTO’s CEO, the goal is to showcase thrilling races in remarkable places. He emphasized the importance of making Qatar the focal point for the series, much like other major professional sports.

The partnership with Visit Qatar marks a five-year deal that positions the T100 series as a journey leading to one thrilling destination. Qatar is rapidly becoming a beloved spot for tourists and families.

The PTO, established in 2014, has seen significant growth, especially after securing funding from venture capitalist Michael Moritz in 2020. Last year, they also broadened their collaboration with the UK-based sports marketing agency, Two Circles, which is now responsible for selling sponsorship rights for the T100 Triathlon World Tour.

The 2025 series will kick off with nine races, starting in Singapore in early April. Participants will then race through locations like San Francisco, Vancouver, London, Las Vegas, and Dubai, culminating in the grand finale in Qatar.
