Discover Wellness: Highlights from the Binghamton Health Fair You Can’t Miss!

Binghamton University is all about promoting health and well-being. The annual Health Fair is a fantastic event that gathers the community to showcase various programs and services aimed at helping students on their wellness journey.

This year, the Health Fair hosted by B-Healthy: Healthy Campus Initiative happens on Wednesday, March 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union. Activities will take place in the Mandela Room, Old Union Hall, and Tillman Lobby.

More than 80 student groups, campus partners, and local wellness advocates will be there, highlighting health resources available both on campus and in the surrounding area. Attendees can enjoy wellness activities like student performances, health checks, and fitness challenges.

Students can “Amp Up Your Play” with fun interactive activities such as affirmation stations, yard games, coloring, and a scavenger hunt. There will also be mindful food tastings, where participants can savor various flavors and textures while trying different food combinations. Live entertainment will be provided by Mountainview Jams and the traditional Japanese drumming group, Unkai Daido.

Johann Fiore-Conte, associate vice president of student affairs, shared, “Our annual Health Fair shows our dedication to weaving health and well-being into daily campus life. It’s a chance for students, faculty, and staff to connect with resources, learn health strategies, and discuss what it means to thrive together.”

In February 2025, Binghamton University took a significant step by adopting the Okanagan Charter, joining other U.S. campuses in promoting health and sustainability. The Health Fair stands as a prominent example of this commitment. For further details, you can check out the Health Fair website.
