A beloved teacher from Gainesville, Georgia, tragically lost his life after a student accidentally ran him over during a prank. Jason Hughes, a 40-year-old math teacher and coach, was killed outside his home during a toilet-papering event that went horribly wrong.
On March 6, a group of teens visited Hughes’s house to roll his trees as a lighthearted joke. As they were leaving in their cars, Hughes stepped outside, tripped, and fell into the road. Unfortunately, he was struck by one of the vehicles driven by 18-year-old Jayden Ryan Wallace. Despite immediate help, Hughes passed away shortly after reaching the hospital.
