Join the Climate Correction Conference: Urgent Action & Bold Leadership Needed to Tackle Global Warming!

The VoLo Foundation is hosting its eighth annual Climate Correction Conference, starting Tuesday. This two-day event will dive into climate change—its causes and solutions. It’s designed for those eager to learn about how a warming planet affects everything from health and economy to where we can live.

Thais Lopez Vogel, a co-founder of the VoLo Foundation, emphasizes, “The climate crisis is already impacting our daily lives.” This conference aims to bring attention to that reality through hope and science-based solutions.

The keynote speaker will be Zay Harding, host of CBS’s “The Visioneers,” which showcases innovators addressing environmental challenges globally.

This year’s theme, “Nature Powered Solutions,” will showcase how we can learn from nature to create better technologies and policies. The goal is to find ways to adapt to our planet’s changes as temperatures continue to rise.

On Tuesday, the conference will adopt an expo-style format. Attendees can connect with researchers, nonprofit leaders, and educators who are working on climate issues. Workshops will be hosted by well-known environmental nonprofits including The Nature Conservancy and the Ocean Conservancy.

Experts from various fields—conservation, media, law, and urban planning—will share insights on topics like climate communication and sustainable fashion during the main conference on Wednesday. Representing institutions like CBS and the University of Miami, these speakers will offer valuable perspectives.

The VoLo Foundation, a private family organization that doesn’t seek donations, has partnered with We Are Neutral to offset the event’s carbon footprint, reflecting their commitment to environmental sustainability.

Historical context shows that awareness of climate change has grown significantly in recent years. According to a recent survey, nearly 70% of Americans now consider climate change a major threat, compared to about 50% just a decade ago. This shift hints at a growing urgency for collective action.

The Climate Correction Conference has taken place in Orlando annually since 2018, convening those passionate about climate change.
