Unlock Funding Opportunities: Encourage Inter-Faculty Collaboration in Global Health – Submit Your Proposal Today!

The Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) is calling on faculty members from Harvard and its affiliated hospitals to propose new Scholarly Working Groups (SWGs) focused on Global Health. These groups will work together for a year to promote collaboration and dive into important health topics aimed at achieving “Health for All.”

With funding up to $20,000 available for selected groups, the goal is to foster innovation and create networks that can help drive significant changes in research and policy. Each group needs to include at least two members from different disciplines and Harvard schools, ensuring a mix of perspectives.

Groups should create a detailed work plan and budget, aiming for clear goals to accomplish within a year. HGHI is particularly interested in innovative ideas related to AI in health equity, pandemic preparedness, humanitarian responses, and strengthening health systems.

According to a recent report from the World Health Organization, global health challenges are on the rise, making collaborative efforts like these more crucial than ever. The effective exchange of ideas can lead to groundbreaking policies and improved health outcomes worldwide.

For more details on how to apply, check out the SWG Submission Guidelines.

This opportunity not only supports individual research but also aims to create a collective impact on global health initiatives.
