Martin’s Famous Potato Rolls is celebrating another fantastic year as a proud sponsor of the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, presented by Capital One. This year marks the festival’s 25th anniversary, showcasing why it’s one of the top culinary events in the country. Chefs, food enthusiasts, and industry legends gathered for a weekend filled with delicious food and fun, all while raising money for a good cause.
Throughout the festival, Martin’s took part in several exciting events, including:
- Mike’s Amazing Burger Bash, hosted by Rachael Ray and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham
- Chicken Coupe: Fried Chicken and Champagne, hosted by Kardea Brown and Esther Choi
- Masters of Fire with Tyler Florence
- Coca-Cola presents Tournament of Champions LIVE, hosted by Guy Fieri
A highlight of the festival was the Burger Bash, where chefs crafted unique burgers, many served on Martin’s rolls. Chef Billy Kramer of NFA Burger took home the prestigious Schweid & Sons The Very Best Burger Award this year. Wendy Cowan, Martin’s marketing manager, expressed the joy of seeing talented chefs using their rolls in creative ways. “It’s exciting to meet the chefs who make amazing dishes with our rolls,” she said.
This year’s festival was significant, not only for the food but also for the impact made over the last 25 years. The event has raised over $45 million to support students at the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. Martin’s is proud to be part of an event that fosters the next generation of culinary talent.
Historically, food festivals like this one play an important role in the food industry, promoting local ingredients and chefs. As diners increasingly seek unique dining experiences, festivals are more relevant than ever. A recent study highlighted that nearly 70% of consumers say they’re more likely to try a new dish when attending a food festival than in a traditional restaurant setting.
Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc. has a rich history that dates back to the 1950s. Starting as a small family business in Chambersburg, PA, it’s grown into a well-respected company with a second bakery in Valdosta, GA. They focus on quality and taste, ensuring that every product is made with care.
