On January 28, Charles Starkey, Ph.D., and Jessica Starkey, Ph.D., awarded him during the AFIA’s annual Pet Food Conference, which is part of the International Production and Processing Expo this week.
The AFIA created the Friend of Pet Food Award in 2019 to recognize those who significantly contribute to the growth of the pet food industry. So far, nine individuals have received this honor.
“Dr. Altom’s impact on the pet food industry goes beyond his professional achievements.
