PARK RAPIDS, Minn. – Sanford Health is expanding its mental health services. They now offer child and adult psychiatry at the Sanford Health Park Rapids Clinic, located at 110 Seventh St. W. Two new providers have joined the team to meet this growing need.

Dr. Kalya Schenheit will see pediatric patients on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Dr. Hannah Moussa Vines will provide care for adults on the second and fourth Tuesdays.

Dr. Moussa Vines focuses on helping patients with emotional and psychological challenges. She takes a patient-centered approach to improve their quality of life. Her work emphasizes stability and support, using evidence-based methods to guide treatment.

Dr. Schenheit treats various conditions in children. She believes in the importance of involving families in care. Her approach is compassionate and aims to make psychiatric services accessible to everyone, regardless of background.

Psychiatrists like Dr. Schenheit and Dr. Moussa Vines conduct evaluations, therapy sessions, and prescribe medications. They understand how factors such as physical health, genetics, and family history interplay with mental health, which is crucial for effective treatment.
