What is Connections Sports Edition?
This game is a collaboration between The Athletic and NYT, designed for both web and mobile. In each puzzle, you will see 16 words, and your task is to group them into four related categories. These could be anything from popular sports to well-known terms in athletics.
The challenge lies in figuring out which words fit together, as there’s often more than one plausible option. Get a correct set, and those words vanish from the board. But be cautious—a wrong guess counts against you, and you can only make three mistakes before the game ends.
