The theme was “Conserving Urban Ecosystems and Green Spaces: Air and Water for a Changing Climate.” Attendees focused on pressing urban challenges like air pollution, water shortages, and the loss of green spaces. Recent studies show that air pollution in major Indian cities is among the worst in the world, with 14 of the top 15 most polluted cities being in India. This highlights the importance of the conclave’s discussions.
